Covionic Lifescience Supply is a Costa Rican specialty chemical distribution company, wholly owned by Coto Holdings. Our registered office is in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The data controller for personal information collected through this website is Covionic Lifescience Supply.

We collect personal information in two ways:
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions: name, company, email address, role, and the message you submit.
- Direct emails: any information you include when you email us at info@covionic.com.
- Phone calls: we may keep brief notes summarizing our conversation for follow-up.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. This is collected by our hosting provider (Netlify) and used for security and operational purposes.
- Language preference: stored in your browser's local storage so we remember your EN/ES choice between visits. This stays on your device and we do not access it remotely.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels on this site.
3. How we use your information
We use the personal information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and follow up on conversations you initiate

- Maintain a record of communications with potential customers, principals, and partners

We keep contact form submissions and email correspondence for as long as needed to maintain the relationship plus any period required by Costa Rican commercial law. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where retention is legally required.

You have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object to or restrict our processing of your information
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing)
- Lodge a complaint with PRODHAB in Costa Rica or your local data protection authority

8. Data security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the size of our operation to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
9. International transfers
Our website is hosted on Netlify, with infrastructure in multiple regions. When you submit information through this website, it may be processed in countries outside Costa Rica, including the United States. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.
10. Children
This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, please contact us so we can delete it.
